Power of satellite (Integrated campaign)

Asked to create a concept to communicate that not all connectivity is created equal – and that satellite is unique among other broadband technologies – our creative team arrived at a solution showcasing “the power of satellite”.

Uplifting the journey (Integrated campaign)

Traveling by plane can get tedious – especially if you’re stuck without the internet to stay entertained and connected to home and work.

In “Uplifting the Journey”, the focus is on the sense of freedom in-flight internet gives passengers and crew by allowing both to stay connected while flying.  Targeted to aviation executives who want to improve the passenger experience, our messaging communicates how enabling travelers to stay connected in flight makes all the difference.

Pushing boundaries (Integrated campaign)

To drive sales and awareness for  U.S. business internet services among SMBs, we developed the “Pushing Boundaries” campaign targeted to four verticals: construction, agribusiness, retail and general industry.

Rolling out with deliverables including print and digital ads, direct mail, social, and email, the campaign’s messaging focused on entrepreneurial owners who operate outside the cable zone but who still need fast internet to do business.

Ride. On. (OOH)

When Harley Davidson introduced the idea of an electric motorcycle, the revered manufacturer didn’t want to lose its reputation for “cool.” These spec ads were concepted from the insight: “American muscle has just been reimagined with American ingenuity.”

The invisible line (Integrated campaign)

Most of us take home internet for granted – but imagine if you couldn’t access Wi-Fi at home.

Working remotely, distance learning, online banking, and keeping up with loved ones would be next to impossible. Yet the reality is that people living in rural America or in harder-to-reach places still can’t get fast, reliable home internet. In this concept, the focus is on how Viasat is erasing the line separating those with home internet from those without by bringing high-speed satellite internet to wherever people live.

In “Invisible Line”, Viasat’s in-house creative agency extended Havas Edge’s original concept to radio, out of home, social ads, and direct mail.

(Contact me at debawriter@gmail.com for the radio ads. They were so fun to write and I love to share the finished product (turns out they’re too BIG to share on this portfolio site)).

Imagine that. (Print ad + video)

To build awareness of Viasat as an internet service provider for some of the world’s hardest-to-reach places, we developed a full-page print/banner ad for United Airlines’ in-flight magazine, and a 30-second seat-back video.
